best b-day

I forgot to mention that I am getting the best b-day present that I can think of. My best friend Chasity is having her baby today! I am so excited for her and Brandon, I can't wait to see all of them!

Well today is my birthday, the big 26, and I am sick. I went to Target and got Zicam and cough drops. Hopefully I can knock it out before dinner tonight. Going to my favorite restaurant, Gervais and Vine. I think I will get the goat cheese, shrimp aoli and scallops. Mmmm I am hungry now....going to get lunch.

Ok, trying to copy Anna, here are 7 things you probably didn't know about me.

1- I worked in a cheese factory when I was in high school.

2-I HATE chicken noodle soup!

3-My favorite show is the Golden Girls

4-I showed pigs, goats and rabbits in 4-H

5-I got turned down from honor society in high school due to a "bad attitude"....who me??

6-I can't study until the whole house is clean and everything is in its place, literally, or I can't focus

7-I hate for shoes to be worn in the house because dirt gets tracked in and then you walk barefoot and the dirt gets on your feet and then in your bed and then you lay your head on your pillow and get dirt in your face. I won't even wear the same shoes I wear at work home. Just gross!

Life

Joey and I have been married for 5 months now and although it is wonderful, it is challenging. I think the hardest thing is learning to compromise. In the past if I didn't like something I just left and now I have to learn to work it out!
School is going well. We had our first test last week, don't know the grade yet but I think I did well. I will be glad when I don't have to study anymore! I hate to wich my life away but December can't come fast enough.
I experienced buying my first car on Saturday. I am thrilled with the purchase. I bought a silver Saab 9-3 aero. It is pretty! I will post some pics when I get a new camera since mine stopped working. Hope everyone is doing well!
